I originally left a 5-star review for Luis back in 2021 after he repaired my ceiling from a roof leak, and I'm still just as impressed with his work today!

What really stood out to me this time was how Luis went out of his way to come by on his holiday vacation to build an enclosure for me. He wasn't scheduling any other jobs, but he made the time to help me out with this, which shows how much he truly cares about his customers.

In addition to that, he was incredibly friendly and professional, and he even took the time to go up on the roof with one of the roofers to explain what was going on. His attention to detail and concern for getting everything fixed properly were obvious.

And just like before, he charged me the same fair price he quoted back in 2021. I truly appreciate his reliability, dedication, and fair pricing.

Off topic but I noticed one review mentioned he said he didn't work on houses that had furniture in them. That was opposite of my experience because not only does my place have furniture but he helped me move it out of the way and then back after he was done!

He also repainted my entire living room and dining room ceilings and he noticed that my dining room chair legs were loose and tightened them all for me, and he even repaired 2 cracks in my ceiling that keep re-appearing and helped me close up a gap in my crown moulding that I wasn't able to close up with just caulk.

If you're looking for someone who goes above and beyond for their clients, I can't recommend Luis enough. He's definitely my go-to guy for any future drywall or paint repairs!

He quoted me a slightly lower offer than other options and was more knowledgeable about the type of plaster the wall could be made of, and took extra time to texture match.

There was a mistake where an extra power outlet was covered up, but Luis was quick to schedule a followup to re-plaster the area (after an electrician re-opened it). Would highly recommend.

When Luis returned my call, he offered my a 7am time slot the next day.

My first thought was "That's crazy talk!" After all, this time of year, it's still kind of dark. Who wants to be up that early? But after some thought, it turned out to be a perfect time frame. I got up at 6:30am, went downstairs, flipped on some lights, and at 6:45am I looked out the window.

I was worried that the plumbers cut the drywall so close to the baseboard that it wouldn't be recoverable.

The Drywall Repair van was there! I went out to put some stuff in the trash can and to sorta let them know I was up. At 7:00am, I met Luis and showed him the job. He and his partner (sorry, I forgot his name. Hey, it was 7am pre-coffee...can you blame me?) started to work. I heard them discussing their game plan.

They were very clean. No dust and no clue (other than the repaired wall) that any work had been done. They were very friendly, especially Luis. We chatted about primary caregiving (my world right now) and he had some advice of what could be done to my parent's house to make our lives easier.

His honesty and opinions calmed certain reservations I had. Normally, I get several bids. But I was limited on time and I went by reviews. I lucked out! Could I find cheaper? Maybe. But I thought his quote was reasonable and I wrote the check feeling the money was well spent. I would definitely call Luis again if I had more drywall work to be done.

Rafael did the project - refinishing the wall with knockdown texture, also repairing the crack in the ceiling and filling in a few big holes in the wall. He was efficient, matched the texture to the existing texture really well, was respectful and super nice, and left everything very clean.

Plumbers just love to cut and after they found leak and fixed it everything was a wet mess and first before drywall was the mold guy. I spoke with Luis about fixing the hole and sent pictures. Luis warned me the mold guy would open the wall more and he was right. So the price changed because the job doubled.

And then I remembered that the plumber cut a hole in the bathroom cabinet and wall so the job got bigger. Luis came yesterday and repaired everything, he then put texture on the wall and matched it seamlessly which was a huge relief.

This part of the project was expensive yes but your paying for the years of experience. I would hire Luis again in a second. The pictures say it all.

Excellent workmanship and very professional interaction from start to finish.

Luis and his team did an excellent job patching a ceiling in our rental.

They didn't do an initial check to give a quote.I got a quote by sending a video of the repair which was very convenient. The price I ended up paying was more than I was quoted, but not a lot more. Considering the patch I needed had weird corners, I didn't mind paying a little more.

After patching. They don't do painting, but they do match the texture. Highly recommended.

THINGS TO NOTE:

1) They are very busy. I had to wait about a week after initial contact before they could do the repair, but my project was not urgent so I didn't mind. If you need to get your project fixed right away, they might not be able to help and you might have to call other contractors.

2) Keep in mind that they don't do any painting. They do the repair and match the texture. You'd have to paint it yourself or hire a painter.

3) They accept Venmo, Cash, and Check. No credit card.

It was an eye sore. Apparently, our previous contractor doesn't do drywall. I was able to find this company after a quick search and reached out to them Saturday night. A pipe running between two floors of my house sprung a leak and between the water damage and the plumber having to punch holes in my ceiling I had quite a mess.

I contacted Luis, sent him some photos and he got back to me with an estimate almost immediately. The price was fair and so we scheduled a time for him to make the repair. The night before Luis was supposed to come over he texted me to confirm the appointment and actually showed up early the next day.

Within a few hours of his arrival my ceiling was back together including new popcorn ceiling to match the original texture. All that was left to do was to repaint the ceiling which he offered to do the following week once it dried or suggested we do it ourselves to save some money.

We chose to repaint it ourselves so he explained to us exactly how to go about it to get the desired result. So the following weekend my wife and I spent about an hour repainting a small patch of ceiling and now you can't tell there was every any damage.

We couldn't be happier with the work performed by Luis and his helper and won't hesitate to use them again when we need drywall work.

Holes were cut for recessed lighting. With some paint, you can't tell

A lot of holes were cut for updated electrical, including over wavy ceilings from the old house's original sagging drywall. I doubt most people would realize where they were unless they were within inches and touching those spots to try to find them!

They showed up when they said they would, were very polite and respectful, and cleaned up each day. There was a time where something was possibly cut accidentally since it was hidden and rather than hiding it, Luis informed me right away.

Luckily, it was fine, but having someone be honest about it speaks volumes. He came back to fix something that didn't hold well due to the lack of insulation and I'm really hoping certain areas won't be a problem in the future since we tried to make it more affordable and reasonable in covering it up.

Awesome job!

Recently bought a home with a tight budget for repairs and stuff. Had to call multiple contractors but their prices are sky high. Then I found Luis! He gave me a pretty descent deal and started the works the next day. He explain best and worst case scenarios as the wall in between the kitchen and living room connects a major power plug and a weight bearing wall.
